چکیده
Smart parts providing information to the user thanks an embedded device are important step toward industry 4.0. Magneto-strictive properties of steel well known and thin strips could be in paramagnetic host part ensure their structural control. Through this study, feasibility smarts realized by insertion strip during aluminum manufacturing is more asserted. This study presents a configuration embed inside massive Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM). used find correct − welding torch offset enabling bonding between deposited bead without causing any deterioration strip. Thickness maps these through X-ray tomography allow evaluate strips. Scanning electron microscopy strength thickness bimetallic interface bead. A good thick alloy arc obtained. The difference two entities welded together represent ratio 10, which 3 times bigger than previous work reported literature. Steel challenging research topic element as well. paper address both topics smart metallic manufacturing.

Wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) offers a potential approach to fabricate large-scale magnesium alloy components with low cost and high efficiency, although this topic is yet to be reported in literature. In this study, WAAM is preliminarily applied to fabricate AZ31 magnesium. Fully dense AZ31 magnesium alloy components are successfully obtained. Meanwhile, to refine grains and obtain go...
متن کاملFabricating Superior NiAl Bronze Components through Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing
Cast nickel aluminum bronze (NAB) alloy is widely used for large engineering components in marine applications due to its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Casting porosity, as well as coarse microstructure, however, are accompanied by a decrease in mechanical properties of cast NAB components. Although heat treatment, friction stir processing, and fusion welding were im...

Wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) technique is a cost-competitive and efficient technology to produce large structure components in industry domains. Mechanical properties are mainly dominated by the microstructure of the components, which is deeply affected by the molten pool size. In this work, to investigate the effect of the molten pool size on microstructure and mechanical properties ...
متن کاملOptimization of Operations in a Steel Wire Manufacturing Company
The project was conducted in a high quality steel wire manufacturing company with the production capacity of over 120,000 tones/annum. The wire drawn from the high speed wire drawing (KOCH) machine is fed as the raw material for BEKEART (zinc coating galvanization) furnace. The problem faced by the company is the variability in the amount of input to the furnace, which results from the breakdow...

Using uniaxial tensile and hardness testing, we evaluated the variability and anisotropy of the mechanical properties of an austenitic stainless steel, UNS S17400, manufactured by an additive process, selective laser melting. Like wrought materials, the mechanical properties depend on the orientation introduced by the processing. The recommended stress-relief heat treatment increases the tensil...
